My process starts with a sketch. I model rough versions in Rhino, which I find exremely intuitive and precise. Organic figures are done in Zbrush. The mid or final model is then moved through MOI for better topography and finally rendered in Cinema 4D, using mostly Octane & Redshift as render engines. I pick the engine depending on the lighting and visual scenario. Post is done in PS. But I do use a variety of techniques. From drawing over and filtering with an ipad brush to literally printing and manually finishing the plate. If necessary, the set is drafted in Vectorworks into mechanical drawing sets (compatible with any engineering CAD system) for future construction.
